Lead Security Supervisor
Summary: Provides customer service and direction to patrons as well as providing service to employees by performing the following.
Essential Duties: The duties of lead security supervisor shall be to assure the security officers maintain the security and order at the hall or facility, prevent theft and graft, assure compliance of employees of the Tribe with all rules and procedures, assure that all money is properly handled, conduct investigations and make reports of any incidents. The supervisor shall minimize conflicts between security officers, management, and surveillance, encourage an attitude of patron service and courtesy by all security officers and assure that safety and welfare of all present in the facility is courteously promoted and administered, remind all persons subject to his direction that the necessity of security is to protect people first and property second. Review and approve all reports of security officers under his or her directions, assist in training of officers, and promptly report security officers who may need disciplinary action, assure that security cooperate with management, surveillance and Human Resources employees of the Bordertown Bingo and Casino. Supervisor shall assure that all forms required are properly and promptly completed. The failure of any employee under the direction of the security supervision is imputed to the security supervisor.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Customer service
Special Skills: Above average oral communication skills, ability to work in fast paced environment, problem solving ability, and supervisor experience.
Licenses: Obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license
Job Demands
Physical: Ability to maneuver in the casino, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints.
Environmental: Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights.
